Descanso BeachLocated just beyond Casino Point, Descanso Beach Club is Avalon’s only all inclusive beach club. With a barefoot bar and restaurant, beach equipment rentals, kayaking, SNUBA, massages by the sea and a new zipline – it’s the best place to spend a sunny afternoon.
South BeachLocated on the south side of the Green Pleasure Pier, South Beach has always been a favorite for the kids because of it’s swim float. You can rent beach equipment here for use at any of the downtown beaches.
Middle BeachLocated between the Wrigley Plaza Stage and the Green Pleasure Pier, Middle Beach is in the heart of town. There’s plenty of sand and fun in the sun just steps from shops, food and most importantly…ICE CREAM!
Step BeachLocated at the entrance to the Via Casino walkway, Step Beach is the only beach with convenient concrete steps and handrails leading right into the crystal clear waters of Avalon Bay from it’s sandy beach.
Lover's CoveLocated just around the corner from where the boat docks along Pebbly Beach Road, Lover’s Cove Marine Preserve undersea kelp gardens is home to a vast array of underwater species. There you will swim among hundreds of colorful fish and invertbrates. Snorkel gear rentals are available right across the street.
